Great Planes Yucca (aka Small Soapweed) (Yucca glauca), evergreen shrub, to 1-2 ft., clumping growth habit, narrow spikes of greenish white flowers in summer, dark green spikey leaves, full sun to part shade, drought tolerant and deer resistant.

This narrow-leaved species grows as a stemless clumping rosette, or may form a short 1ft stem with age, and is suitable for the smaller garden. Leaf margins carry white filaments.
